Zovira: AI Photo Enhancer

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Zovira: AI Photo Enhancer app (“the App”), published by Zent AI Studio, does and does not handle. We have written it to match what the App actually does.
Your photos are processed only on your device and are never uploaded by the App. All enhancement is done on-device; we do not run any server that receives your images, we do not have user accounts, and we do not sell your data. The App uses the internet for two things only: showing ads (Google AdMob) and buying or restoring a Zovira Pro subscription (Google Play Billing) — neither of those receives your photos. Sections 7 and 8 explain exactly what those services handle.
You give the App a photo in one of two ways: by choosing it with the Android photo picker inside the App, or by sharing it to Zovira from another app using the Android share sheet. A photo shared into the App is first copied into the App’s own private storage so it can be processed. In both cases the image is read from your device and processed entirely on your device (CPU/GPU). The enhanced result is written to a temporary file and, when you tap Save, to your device gallery under a “Zovira” album. Temporary files and shared-in copies are deleted after use. Your original photo is never modified.
The App never uploads your photos or sends them to us or to any third party. If you use the in-app Share option on a result, Android’s share sheet passes the enhanced image to whichever other app you choose, at your request — the App itself does not transmit it.
The App uses the Android system photo picker to let you pick one image at a time.
On newer Android versions this needs no broad storage permission. Where required, the
App requests only photo-read access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES on Android 13+,
or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older versions) and, on older Android versions,
limited gallery-write access to save your result. The App does not use the camera.
Enhancement uses AI/ML models bundled inside the App (super-resolution/detail, background segmentation, face detection). These models run locally with no network access and do not send image data anywhere. Face detection is used only to protect facial detail and identity during enhancement; no face data is stored or shared.
If the on-device processing engine hits an error or crashes, the App writes a short technical record — such as the processing stage, image dimensions, and memory, timing and error details, with no image content and nothing that identifies you — to its private app storage so the problem can be diagnosed. This record stays on your device, can be viewed in Settings, and is never sent to us automatically.
The App does not include a third-party analytics SDK and does not collect usage analytics.
To keep the core features free, the App shows ads through the Google AdMob SDK. These can include a native ad in the Home screen list, an occasional full-screen ad after you save a photo, and a rewarded video ad you can choose to watch in order to save in 4K or 8K without a subscription. Ads are not shown to Zovira Pro subscribers.
To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and share your device’s advertising ID, other device identifiers, and information about how you interact with ads, as described in Google’s Advertising and Privacy policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
“Zovira Pro” is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play using the Google Play Billing service. Google processes the payment and manages the subscription. The App receives only a purchase/entitlement token from Google Play, which it stores locally on your device to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your name, email or payment details.
The App includes open-source libraries and Google’s on-device ML runtimes (MediaPipe, ONNX Runtime). The only components that use the network are the Google AdMob SDK (ads) and Google Play Billing (subscriptions). A full list is in Settings > Open Source Licenses.
We do not hold any personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. On your device: the enhanced-result temp file and any shared-in copy are deleted after use; the local settings and any entitlement token are removed if you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App; the local diagnostic record can be cleared from Settings (long-press “Last crash”) or by clearing the App’s data or cache. Saved images in your gallery are yours to delete at any time.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Because image processing is on-device and no image data is transmitted, the main protection for your photos is your device’s own security. Local files used by the App are kept in the App’s private storage.
